Introduction to Audrey

Audrey Kathleen Powell is a college student currently attending Southern Utah University. Audrey is a communications major with an emphasis in communication disorders. She hopes to one day become a registered Speech Pathologist and work with children to correct their speech impediments. Right now, Audrey is working as a Registered Behavior Technician at Utah Behavioral Services working with children that have autism. Her job consists of working one-on-one with a child to help them learn to control their different ranging behaviors. She is an advocator for children and adults with autism and hopes to educate more people on the various obstacles people with autism struggle with on a day-to-day basis. Audrey is fueled by the truth that every human being should be treated equally, fairly, and shown respect. She is an outspoken, fearless, opinionated, and fun individual who wants to make a positive mark on everyone she meets.

Audrey is from Gilbert, Arizona. She came to SUU on an alumni scholarship since both of her parents attended the university as well! As a teenager she played volleyball and softball throughout high school while also working at a Daycare. Once she got to college, her interests expanded to yoga, going to the gym, cooking healthy meals, thrift shopping, and exploring Southern Utah with her friends. She is fun loving and thrill seeking. Always looking for the next adventure- Audrey can be found jet setting to different places around the world, like Peru, or road tripping to her favorite places including Disneyland and the beach.
